NCUA released a new letter to federal credit unions in regards to the operating fee schedule adjusted in 2019. The letter is intended to help credit unions calculate their exact operating fees in 2019.

The NCUA board of directors held its November meeting yesterday and approved two items: budgets for 2019-2020 to fund the agency’s activities and strategic priorities, and a proposed rule to update fidelity bond requirements for corporate and natural-person credit unions, as part of the agency’s regulatory reform agenda. Federally insured credit unions, especially those with 100 or more employees, are encouraged to conduct and submit the annual Voluntary Credit Union Diversity Self-Assessment to NCUA’s Office of Minority and Women Inclusion before Dec. 31, 2018.
