Paula Lynch to serve as Association’s downstate management consultant

Paula Lynch.jpgPaula Lynch, who was hired last year as a member of the New York Credit Union Association’s compliance team, has accepted the Association’s management consultant role for credit unions in the Westchester-Rockland, Metropolitan and Long Island Chapters.

In addition to her new responsibilities, Lynch will continue to serve as the shared compliance specialist for credit unions in the Westchester-Rockland Chapter. Additionally, as a management consultant, Lynch will focus on increasing members’ awareness of the benefits the Association provides and serve as a conduit for enhanced communication within the credit union community.

“It is a privilege to represent the Association in its efforts to help credit unions grow successfully,” said Lynch. “My role as shared compliance specialist was a great introduction to the credit union world. It allowed me to view another side of financial services and experience firsthand the ‘people helping people’ philosophy in action. I look forward to this new adventure.”

Lynch joins fellow Management Consultants Marge Kazz, who works with credit unions in the Erie-Niagara, Rochester and Jamestown Chapters; and Chris Pajak, who primarily works with credit unions in the Adirondack, Capital, Catskill-Hudson, Central New York, Finger Lakes, Southern Tier and Utica-Rome Chapters.

Prior to joining the Association, Lynch—a graduate of St. Francis College in Brooklyn—served as a BSA analyst, assistant branch manager and assistant vice president at several large and regional financial institutions.
