New York credit unions partner with AffirmX for compliance solutions

AffirmX LogoAt the halfway mark of the year, several New York credit unions have partnered with AffirmX to enhance their regulatory compliance program. AffirmX, a partner of the New York Credit Union Association, provides credit unions with a wide range of risk and compliance solutions, including the AffirmX Risk Intel Center software.

AffirmX can help credit unions minimize risk management workloads, identify compliance deficiencies and reduce anxieties and costs around regulatory issues.

The AffirmX Risk Intel Center delivers accurate risk intelligence based on expert reviews of internal and external data sources through a query-based workflow engine. AffirmX enables clients to spend less time searching for issues and more time proactively remediating and mitigating risks so that they can focus on their core business.

The AffirmX partnership with the Association allows the Association to stay in the compliance picture and support each credit union with any findings and deficiencies that may come about as a part of the review process.

Teresa Kershner, VP of operations and information systems at Genesee Valley FCU, said she is pleased with the partnership.

“We have been satisfied with AffirmX,” she said. “We signed up earlier this year to fill a need we had for compliance review. We have found the feedback from AffirmX to be useful in determining compliance areas that need to be enhanced in our credit union.”
