The New York Credit Union Foundation is again offering three separate training sessions this summer for individuals interested in teaching the National Endowment for Financial Education High School Financial Planning Program.
The NEFE HSFPP is focused on basic personal finance skills that are relevant to the lives of teens in grades 8-12.
The first session will be held July 26 at New York Credit Union Association headquarters in Albany.
The second session will be held Aug. 9 at The Summit FCU’s headquarters in Rochester.
Additionally, on Aug. 14, the Foundation will host a “master session” at the East Side Business Center in Syracuse. During this “train-the-trainer” session, a master trainer will introduce teachers, volunteers, parents and homeschool instructors, and youth leaders to the program materials and how to order materials for their programs.
