Convention kicks off in Saratoga with golf, EXPO/Welcome Reception

Hundreds of credit union leaders, volunteers, employees, vendors and industry professionals are making their way to Saratoga Springs today for the start of the New York Credit Union Association’s 2018 Annual Meeting & Convention.

This year’s Convention will include inspiring featured speakers, timely Learning Labs, numerous networking opportunities, important fundraising events and more.

Convention kicks off today with the first day of the CUNA Mutual Group Golf Tournament to benefit the New York Credit Union Foundation. This evening includes several signature Convention events, including the EXPO/Welcome Reception sponsored by Alloya Corporate FCU, the Wine Pull to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Young Professionals Commission YP Convention Kickoff.

Tomorrow, the EXPO will open at 7:30 a.m. The opening ceremonies and general session will follow, with featured speakers Pablos Holman, a futurist and hacker, and J.B. Bernstein a sports marketing pioneer, scheduled to take the stage.

Convention will continue Saturday with presentations from credit union entrepreneur Matt Davis and renowned speaker and author Mel Robbins, as well as the second day of the CUNA Mutual Group Golf Tournament and the Gala Dinner.

The event will conclude Sunday with the 2018 Annual Meeting.
