The New York Credit Union Association has welcomed Bridget Hartnett as a compliance consultant.
Monday marked Hartnett’s first day with the Association, and she is working out of the Association’s Albany office.
“Bridget brings a wealth of compliance and credit union knowledge to the Association, and we are thrilled to welcome her to our department,” said Association Compliance Director Linda Bow. “I know the state’s credit unions will find Bridget to be a valuable resource and guide as they work through their compliance questions and challenges.”
Prior to joining the Association, Hartnett worked at several New York credit unions, including Sunmark FCU, Health Employees FCU and SEFCU. Most recently, Hartnett served as operations manager at TCT FCU.
“I am a lifelong credit union member, and I’ve spent more than a decade working in the credit union space,” said Hartnett, who began her career as a teller. “I’m looking forward to bringing the skills and knowledge I’ve learned over the past 10 years to credit unions throughout New York.”
In her current role, Hartnett will serve as a compliance resource for the state’s credit unions and assist them in working through compliance-related matters.
In addition to Hartnett and Bow, the Association’s compliance department is composed of: Senior Compliance Specialist Sarah Hodgens, and Shared Compliance Specialists Cara Babicz, Paula Lynch and John Starczewski.
